The Journey Begins

Im starting on 1025th day of my sobriety. I had the idea of doing this blog to communicate my recovery on a day to day basis. All the simple things that we have to consider on this crazy journey of re-discovery and peace.

As we respect anonymity I will only talk about my thoughts and experiences and no names will be mentioned – promise.

It’s quite late so will just say that today was all about people good, bad and indifferent.  I find people to be my biggest challenge.  Some irritate me and I cant let go of that irritation. Some I obsess about and others I want to fix. Where is the happy medium – where do we just “be”.  I worry about all aspects of personal relationships – am I too much, to little, not enough etc… etc.. etc… so a constant brain exercise like a hamster in a wheel (sorry for the feeble analgy).

The best thing to come out of today is my commitment to a Creative Writing Course which I hope will improve my content on here.

Anyway time for bed so night night peeps x

  1. Love this blog, can’t wait to hear the next instalment, how your story will pan out & most importantly so excited to be in your journey with you.
To anyone in early recovery (or later recovery for that matter), this is a must to read & follow, you will feel part of her journey also. What an inspiration, so honest and humble.
    Please
    Come back soon!!
